On the last Friday of November we had a one day trip to Oslo to celebrate the Finnish tradition of Pikkujoulut (i.e. Little Christmas).
The day offered inspiring architecture as well as excellent Norwegian seafood. We enjoyed the panoramic views from the roof of the Oslo Opera house and explored the new area of Tjuvholmen, including the Astrup Fearnley museum designed by Renzo Piano. It didn’t escape anyone’s attention that we were architects, since we carefully examined all the interesting building materials that came our way.
